The HOPE Project awards a one-time stipend of up to $250 to qualified applicants living in the United States who have a diagnosis of limb-girdle muscular dystrophy and need financial assistance for durable medical equipment (DME) expenses for mobility (including mobility scooters, bedside commodes, and shower chairs, for example). The Speak Foundation will accept applications for the next cycle from July 1, 2023, through July 31, 2023.

The C.A.R.E. Program was created to provide newly diagnosed patients with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy with a giftbox full of helpful tools which includes smart technology and other supportive items donated by the International Consortium of LGMD Organizations. This program is specifically endowed for residents of the United States who were diagnosed with LGMD on or after May 1, 2021.
